I found some slide sheets of negatives from 15 years ago! When I saw the bunny peering out of the box I had to scan the negative and make a print. I printed the image in sections, like my own version of a Doug and Mike Starn print – the best process photographers of all time.
There is an amazing quality with film, different to digital images. There’s a softness to the overall image quality, as well as a density to the tones.
So, the bunny didn’t live that long, it became ill soon after being rescued. He had a loving home to live out his days though.
